Optimized design of tipping trailer for transport

The project aimed to eliminate the folding of large size pieces, to reduce the weight as a whole and to increase the rigidity of certain elements.
The rigorous analytical approach allowed the design of a greatly improved bucket. As desired, the folding and the manipulation of large size pieces were eliminated, the weight was 540 kg lighter, the weld length was also reduced by 40% and the rigidity of the lateral walls was increased.
The use of hollow extruded profiles equipped with sockets and modular design have successfully increase the productivity. The lightering of the bucket will reduce CO2 emissions coming from their trucks.
