Étant donné le potentiel grandissant de valorisation des rebuts post-consommation, AluQuébec a mandaté Groupe AGÉCO afin d’approfondir la caractérisation des rebuts d’aluminium post-consommation au Québec et de mieux comprendre les différentes voies de récupération, de conditionnement et de valorisation de ces derniers. Ce webinaire offre un tour d’horizon des principaux constats tirés de l’étude, plus particulièrement sur les volumes de rebuts d’aluminium post-consommation générés, récupérés et éliminés au Québec, les acteurs impliqués et les pratiques de recyclage et de valorisation observés. Cinq catégories de rebuts d’aluminium seront abordées plus en détail : les canettes, les véhicules automobiles, les produits du secteur de la construction, démolition, rénovation (CRD), les biens durables (ex : électroménagers, petits appareils ménagers et produits électroniques) et les autres matières résiduelles telles que les contenants et emballages en aluminium.
