Cette analyse met en lumière l’importance des exportations, qui représentent 32 % du PIB du Québec, dont près de la moitié est destinée aux États-Unis.
L’étude identifie neuf secteurs particulièrement vulnérables à d’éventuels tarifs, touchant environ 100 000 emplois et représentant 4 % du PIB québécois. L’industrie de l’aluminium se distingue par son interdépendance transfrontalière, tandis que d’autres secteurs clés comme l’aérospatiale, le bois et l’automobile sont également à risque.
