La texture cristalline influence fortement la mise en forme des métaux et leurs propriétés d'usage, et tout particulièrement pour les alliages d'aluminium. Pourtant, son rôle est souvent sous-estimé, soit à cause de la complexité apparente des concepts à manipuler, soit par manque de moyen de caractérisation. La généralisation des techniques d'imagerie d'orientation par diffraction (EBSD) offre maintenant l'opportunité de caractériser "facilement" ces textures, mais le domaine reste difficile à maitriser.

Ce webinaire abordera ces notions et en particulier comment ces textures se développent lors de la déformation à chaud des alliages d'aluminium.
