L'intérêt pour le soudage laser est en croissance depuis quelques années, notamment par l'augmentation de l'automatisation, par le développement de la filière électrique ainsi que par l'introduction de sources manuelles.
Dans ce webinaire, le conférencier abordera des notions d'industrie 4.0 (détection d'anomalies, prédiction des paramètres par IA) ainsi que certaines applications visées (formage, fissuration à chaud) dans le cadre du groupe industriel METALTec.
En complément du soudage laser, des éléments 4.0 seront aussi abordés en lien avec des travaux connexes en soudage GMAW robotisé.
À propos du conférencier
François Nadeau détient une maîtrise en métallurgie de l'Université Laval et possède une expertise en soudage et en métallurgie physique. Il est établi au CNRC depuis 18 ans et est présentement chef technique en fabrication manufacturière, notamment en charge de quatre lignes d'affaire : soudage, moulage HPVDC, formage et extrusion. Il est fortement impliqué dans des projets R-D du groupe industriel METALTec (+30 membres) en plus d'avoir participé à l'écriture de plusieurs articles scientifiques (+30) et rapports techniques (+145).
