Les techniques classiques de caractérisation de l’aluminium telle que la métallographie par microscopie optique ne sont généralement pas adaptées à l’industrie 4.0 et à la numérisation des procédés. Dans ce webinaire, il sera démontré qu’il est possible d’adapter la microscopie optique classique de telle sorte qu’elle puisse être entièrement intégrée à un procédé numérisé. Cette transformation s’articule autour de trois aspects principaux : la connectivité, l’automatisation et l’IA.
À propos du conférencier
Marc-Olivier Gagné est diplômé de l’Université Laval en génie de la métallurgie et des matériaux. Depuis son arrivée au CNRC en 2017, il a participé à plus d’une cinquantaine de projets de R-D et de services techniques dans les domaines de la corrosion et de la métallurgie physique. Depuis 2018, il a contribué au développement d’une expertise en intelligence artificielle appliquée aux procédés manufacturiers et plus particulièrement aux procédés de transformation de l’aluminium. Il a mené une importante initiative dans ce domaine dans le cadre du groupe de R-D industriel METALTec.
