L’utilisation de sous-assemblages dans les véhicules permet généralement de varier les méthodes de fabrication et d’assemblage. Plus spécifiquement, en utilisant des alliages d’aluminium appropriés combinés à des procédés appropriés, cela peut alors permettre aux pièces produites d’atteindre d’excellentes propriétés mécaniques. Cela sera présenté au cours de ce webinaire par l’ajout d’une étape de mise en forme tiède à une séquence de fabrication d’un sous-assemblage soudé à l’arc.

À propos du conférencier

Guillaume D'Amours s’est joint au CNRC à Saguenay en 2004 à titre d’agent de recherche dans le domaine de l’hydroformage de tubes l’aluminium. Il s’est par la suite diversité pour entreprendre des travaux de recherche sur la mise en forme de tôles d’aluminium très résistantes qui étaient jusqu’à là difficiles à former. Cela lui a permis de développer diverses variantes de procédés de formage à chaud.
